HOW CAN WE HELP?

HOW LONG IS THE HIRE PERIOD?

Our prices are for a 3 day hire period  (excluding the day of collection and return).  Yes, weekends and holidays count as a day!  Please speak to us, if you wish to hire for a longer period.

HOW DO I BOOK?

Please review all the items you would like to hire for your event and add them to the cart, for your ease.  Then call us on 07703 001504 or email sugarloafeventshire@hotmail.com and we can discuss your booking and availability.  For example, if you email us, it may be easier for you to copy and paste the cart.
Your booking will be confirmed when the 25% deposit is paid
We are not able to accept online bookings just yet.

WHEN DO I PAY?

We will ask you to pay a 25% deposit to secure your booking.  We will then ask that you pay the outstanding balance no later than 7 days before your event.  Ideally, payment by bank transfer.  Your booking is not confirmed until full payment is made.

DO YOU CHARGE FOR COLLECTION OR DELIVERY

In short, no.  However, please note, we do not currently offer an in-house delivery service.
1. You can collect your items from the storeroom in Hainault (IG6) or, on arrangement, Limehouse (E14).
2. You can collect and/or return items yourself, but please ensure you have a suitable vehicle.
3. We can put you in touch with a local taxi service and/or a removals service - depending on amount, with whom we have a relationship.  You would pay the courier directly.

DO YOU CHARGE A RETURNS DEPOSIT ?

Yes, we call this a Release Date Deposit and we take a £50 or 25% deposit, whichever is the higher on the day the items are released to you.  The deposit can be paid in cash or a bank transfer.  Cash is probably easier, because we hope to return it to you!  The deposit is refundable on clean (unless the Return Dirty Service has been ordered) and undamaged return of the items.

WILL I RECEIVE CLEAN ITEMS?

Absolutely.  All items are washed in a dishwasher and the carts provided are steam cleaned.

HOW SHOULD I RETURN THE ITEMS TO YOU?

Fully cleaned and dry please and in the carts provided.  If any of the items are returned to us dirty, we will charge the 25% Return Dirty Service surcharge on the WHOLE order.

RETURN DIRTY SERVICE

We are excited by this offering and believe it will add real value to our customers.  You can simply return the dirty items to us in the carts provided.  We do all the washing-up.  We charge a 25% surcharge based on the total amount of your whole order.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I BREAK SOMETHING?

Please let us know.  The replacement cost will be deducted from the Release Date Deposit held or, if that is not sufficient, an additional invoice will be issued.  The replacement cost is 5x the hire cost (eg, a champagne glass is .32p to hire.  If broken, the charge will be £1.60).
